Thunderstorm winds downed one tree in the 1100 block of Hatchett Road, and another tree in the 3300 block of Badgett Sisters Parkway.

A weak surface boundary centered across north central North Carolina was the focus for isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Ample surface heating and modest moisture return was in place, which aided in thunderstorm development. These thunderstorms produced a few instance of damaging wind across Caswell County.
