Event narrative
A thunderstorm produced three inch diameter hail south of Dripping Springs. As of this writing there is no official estimate of monetary loss due to the hail across Hays County including Dripping Springs and the Wimberley area. Will go with an initial 10 million dollars and this will be updated at a later time if more accurate estimates come in from city or county officials.

Thunderstorms developed near the triple point of low pressure center, frontal boundary, and dryline. Some of these storms produced very large hail in excess of 5 to 6 inches in diameter and produced damaging wind gusts. Monetary loss due to damage to areas of Blanco and Hays counties was likely in the tens of millions of dollars. Estimates for the City of San Marcos is near 750 thousand for debris removal, repairs to public facilities and infrastructure.
