TCOON station ARWT2 in Aransas Wildlife Refuge observed a wind gust of 43 knots.
Wider weather episode
The northern edge of decaying MCS caused strong wind gusts around 40 mph over the Corpus Christi Bay during the very early morning hours of May 29th. A more widespread event occurred on May 31st, that impacted much of the Coastal Bend.
