A thunderstorm produced wind gusts estimated at 65 mph that damaged a carport and barn roof on the westside of Bastrop. The carport was ripped from the building.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed along an outflow boundary that moved into a warm, moist airmass over South-Central Texas. Some of these storms produced large hail and damaging wind gusts.
