Strong thunderstorm wind blew down trees, and destroyed a small outbuilding.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed into portions of northwestern Arkansas during the afternoon and evening of the 17th, as an upper level disturbance moved into the Southern Plains. The strongest thunderstorms produced damaging wind gusts.
