Event narrative

A tree fell onto a car traveling southbound on Reams Road near Summerlake Park Boulevard in Winter Garden. A 14 year old female who was in the back seat at the time was extricated from the back seat and transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Two other passengers in the car were uninjured.

Strong to Severe storms produced wind damage, severe hail, and led to one fatality over interior east central Florida.
