Event narrative

Riverwatch would report an ice jam had formed near Napakiak and was flooding communities upstream including Napaskiak and Oscarville. The initial advisory was upgraded to a warning which covered the reach of the Kuskokwim River from Bethel downstream through Napakiak. Widespread flooding to homes and transportation was reported in Oscarville and Napaskiak.
