Nearly five inches of rain from the evening of the 18th into the early morning of the 19th caused flash flooding in the Ontonagon area as a culvert washed out and resulted in the closure of Lakeshore Drive east of Ontonagon.

Heavy rains of 3 to 5 inches from thunderstorms washed out culverts over portions of Ontonagon and Houghton counties during the early morning of the 19th.
