There was a Facebook report and picture of a fireworks canopy blown over an estimated 25 to 50 feet at the corner of M-123 and M-28 south of Newberry.

Increasing instability and strong deep layer shear along a cold front moving through the area spawned severe thunderstorms over Luce County on the afternoon of the 29th.
