Evans County dispatch reported two trees down in Claxton. One tree was down on N Grady Street and the other was down on W James Street.

The combination of strong forcing, instability, and ambient shear combined to produce a significant threat of severe weather across southeast Georgia during the afternoon hours. As thunderstorms moved across the area, numerous instances of damaging wind gusts and large hail were reported.
