Effingham County Emergency Management relayed a report of ping pong ball sized hail in Clyo.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms started to develop around midday in the vicinity of a southward moving cold front. As these thunderstorms tracked to the south through the afternoon, they produced numerous reports of large hail and damaging wind gusts across southeast Georgia.
