County comms reported multiple trees blown down in Glen Alpine, with one tree on a home that caused a collapsed roof. Multiple trees were also blown down around Morganton.

Numerous thunderstorms and storm clusters moved across western North Carolina during the afternoon and evening. Some storms produced severe weather in the form of isolated large hail and swaths of damaging wind gusts.
