Fire dept reported trees blown down near the intersection of Abner Rd and Liberty Hill Rd and a tree down on a house on Jennings Rd near I-77.

Wider weather episode

Numerous thunderstorms and storm clusters moved across western North Carolina during the afternoon and evening. Some storms produced severe weather in the form of isolated large hail and swaths of damaging wind gusts.
