Damage path of apparent tornado based on NDVI differencing in high resolution satellite imagery. The width and strength is unknown and the tornado only affected trees in the Atchafalaya Basin.

Wider weather episode

Multiple upper disturbances moved across the region from the 12th through the 16th causing a rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms which produced numerous reports of damage, flooding, and high winds.
