Broadcast media relayed trees down across state routes 47 and 54 south and southwest of Gibson City.

Wider weather episode

One lone thunderstorm on the morning of the 13th produced severe winds over portions of the Chicago metro. Additional clusters of strong to severe storms developed that afternoon and evening mainly impacting areas south of I-80 with severe winds and one tornado.
