Event narrative
Numerous trees and power lines were downed across Gibson City. A stoplight had also been blown off its pole and panels were blown out of a fence.
Wider weather episode
One lone thunderstorm on the morning of the 13th produced severe winds over portions of the Chicago metro. Additional clusters of strong to severe storms developed that afternoon and evening mainly impacting areas south of I-80 with severe winds and one tornado.
