A strong cold front brought several hours of 50 to 60 mph wind gusts with extensive damage and blowing dust which dropped visibility to under a mile through the day from American Falls north to Shelley across both interstates 86 and 15. Power companied reported power outages for over a thousand customers. A small shed collapsed in Blackfoot. A large tree snapped in two at a gold course near Shelley.
