Wider weather episode

A surface low pressure system moved across central Kentucky during the afternoon and evening hours on May 14th, 2024. While showers and thunderstorms were largely sub-severe, one cell in Logan County was able to feed off of greater instability and shear across Tennessee and briefly had supercell characteristics, with rotation briefly observed in the cell. The storm ultimately produced localized straight-line wind damage, knocking down a few trees in eastern Logan County.
