A tree was blown down onto powerlines about 3 miles south of Crossroads along Highway 141. The time of damage was based on radar. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

Southerly steering flow enabled both east and west coast sea breezes to push into through the course of the day over a hot and unstable airmass. Boundary collisions across the interior of the forecast area triggered late afternoon & evening strong to pulse severe storms.
