What the National Weather Service wrote
The southern half of the zone remained in Severe(D2) drought while the north continued to be in Moderate(D1) drought. The Cooperative Observer at Cliff received 0.49 inches of precipitation which was 0.15 inches below normal.
The wider storm
Areas west of the Continental Divide received above normal precipitation while areas to the east were near or below normal. A majority of the rain fell in the last week of the month which lead to no change in drought conditions across southern New Mexico.
