What the National Weather Service wrote
The eastern half of the zone remained in Extreme(D3) drought and improving to Severe(D2) drought across the northwest. The Cooperative Observer at Antelope Wells recorded 1.85 inches of precipitation which was 1.14 inches above normal.
The wider storm
Areas west of the Continental Divide received above normal precipitation while areas to the east were near or below normal. A majority of the rain fell in the last week of the month which lead to no change in drought conditions across southern New Mexico.
