Severe(D2) drought conditions continued for the entire zone through June.

Wider weather episode

Areas west of the Continental Divide received above normal precipitation while areas to the east were near or below normal. A majority of the rain fell in the last week of the month which lead to no change in drought conditions across southern New Mexico.
