The Deming ASOS recorded a peak gust of 60 mph.

An upper low was located over Baja which brought in some mid and high level moisture, but the surface had dew point depressions over 50 degrees. This led to isolated thunderstorms with one producing a severe wind gust of 60 mph at the Deming Airport.
