Trees downed in town by thunderstorm winds.

A Mesoscale Convective Vortex (MCV) moved through the region on the morning of June 16. This quick moving system produced widespread winds between 60 to 70 mph through it's path, especially for areas along and east of the Mississippi River. Isolated reports of hail were noted, with the largest being golf ball sized.
