Photos relayed of a few trees snapped near the base at the Hidden Lake Country Club, south of Sheffield. One tree branch landed on the side of a building, causing damage.

Wider weather episode

A Mesoscale Convective Vortex (MCV) moved through the region on the morning of June 16. This quick moving system produced widespread winds between 60 to 70 mph through it's path, especially for areas along and east of the Mississippi River. Isolated reports of hail were noted, with the largest being golf ball sized.
