A thunderstorm wind gust of 46 mph/40 knots was measured at the WxFlow Biscayne Bay Light station XKBS. The height of the anemometer is 20 feet.

Scattered showers and thunderstorm development occurred over the Atlantic waters overnight as a dry air pocket eroded and moisture increased late June 21st. With these passing thunderstorms, wind gusts from 30-40 knots were measured over Biscayne Bay.
