A tornado touched down near Chicago Midway Airport and moved northeast crossing over Lake Michigan as a waterspout just southeast of Oakwood Beach.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved across southern Lake Michigan during the late evening of July 14th producing severe winds and two waterspouts.

Began near 31st Street Harbor (41.8178, -87.5923).
