A slow-moving front edged southward across South Georgia with very high atmospheric moisture across the area (PWAT 2.2 to 2.5 inches). Steering flow was < 5 kts. As slow-moving sea breezes and boundaries moved inland, a few isolated strong storms with wet downbursts and heavy rainfall impacted SE GA.
