Event narrative
A severe thunderstorm dropped hail stones the size of quarters in Bridgton. Additional reports of pea and dime size hail were also reported.
Wider weather episode
A weak upper level disturbance combined with low level instability and a sea breeze front to trigger a few severe thunderstorms during peak heating on June 5th. Storms moved towards the southeast bringing a few reports of large hail and damaging outflow winds.
