A few trees downed on wires in Arcade.

A convectively induced shortwave trough across southern Ontario province and eastern Lake Erie tracked across the forecast area. The trough, along with increased instability, caused strong to severe thunderstorms to develop east of the Lake Erie lake breeze. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, along with reports of related damage were confined to portions of the Western Southern Tier, Upper Genesee Valley and the Northern Finger Lakes.
