Severe thunderstorm outflow winds downed a tree onto lines that blocked one lane of traffic Thomaston.

Wider weather episode

Hot and unstable conditions were in place across the region. An approaching upper level trough provided the ingredients to include shear for organized convection. A few severe storms developed across Southern Maine bringing sporadic wind damage.
