Event narrative

A wet microburst from a collapsing supercell blew down a significant number of trees causing close to a hundred snapped trees in Durham, NH. Significant power outages also occurred in this area.

Wider weather episode

A supercell thunderstorm developed across southwest New Hampshire on the afternoon of June 23rd. The storm moved east to west across the entire state of New Hampshire before weakening near the Maine border. The storm brought concentrated areas of wind damage, large hail, and a brief tornado touchdown in Dublin, NH. In addition, other strong thunderstorms formed north of the supercell across Central New Hampshire.
