wind gust of 45 mph as thunderstorms moved
offshore.

SW steering over a moist and unstable airmass pushed the west coast sea breeze inland where it converged with the St. Johns River breeze and east coast sea breeze in the afternoon and evening. These storms produced coastal wind gusts of 40-50 mph.
