Hot temperatures 6 to 10 degrees degrees above normal were experienced across southeast Arizona resulting in major Heat Risk. The Pima County Medical Examiner determined that heat was the primary cause of death in two individuals and a contributing factor in the death of seven individuals in Tucson.
