Event narrative

The EM reported power lines down

and roof damage to building located along

West Carter Ave and Gordon Street near

Downtown Blackshear Georgia. The time of damage was based

off Radar. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

Wider weather episode

The area was between a mid-upper trough over the eastern seaboard

and a mid-upper ridge over the lower MS valley which maintained north-

northwesterly flow aloft. Scattered to numerous showers and storms developed along the sea breezes in the afternoon into evening. Cooler temperatures aloft under troughing produced local strong storm wind gusts.
