A severe thunderstorm producing wind gusts estimated at 60 mph knocked a tree down onto State Route 42 2 miles north of Millville.

Weak surface troughing in an environment of ample instability and moisture allowed for convection to occur across east-central Pennsylvania during the afternoon and evening hours of June 22, 2024. Severe thunderstorms produced concentrated areas of thunderstorm wind damage with occasional small hail reports throughout the evening.
