Effingham County Emergency Management reported a tree down on power lines at the 900 Block of Old Tusculum Road, a 6 inch diameter pine tree down on the 500 Block of Old Tusculum Road, and a tree down on a house along Standard Lane.

Wider weather episode

A weak mid-level shortwave approaching from the west along with a moderately moist and unstable environment led to a few thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts across Southeast Georgia.
