Several wind gusts of 50 to 63 mph were measured the afternoon of the 3rd as a frontal system moved through Idaho. Tom Cat Summit and Craters of the Moon measured 63 mph gusts.

Wider weather episode

A Pacific system brought heavy rain to the to the eastern mountains and strong winds to much of southeastern Idaho on the 3rd and 4th.
