Event narrative

Severe drought developed on June 11th over the northeast portion of San Patricio, generally northeast of Sinton, TX. This was short-lived as Tropical Storm Alberto brought 4-7 of rainfall in the area and improved drought conditions to none.

Wider weather episode

Prolonged dry spell led to drought conditions to become severe in a small area covering southern Refugio County and small portions of northern San Patricio County and western Aransas County.
