Alberto moved onshore during the 20th of June with tides along the coast of Jefferson County reaching 2 feet or more above MHHW for 2 tide cycles. The water level reached 2.91 feet above MHHW at 1030Z on the 20th at TXPT2. Minor flooding was noted around Sabine Pass.

Tropical Storm Alberto moved across the western gulf and into Northeast Mexico. The large wind field of the disorganized system pushed water levels into minor flood along the coast of Southeast Texas.
