A south wind gust of 39 knots was measured by a WeatherFlow station at Carysfort Reef Light.
Wider weather episode
A two-day period of active, regenerative convection occurred from early June 11th through late in the evening of the 12th, 2024, as a low level ridge axis remained to the east. Strong upper-level divergence remained over the Florida Keys along with a deep tropical airmass and little if any convective inhibition.
