Members of the public reported a waterspout off the coast of Marco Island associated with a shower moving through the area.

With the influence of a weak mid-level low aloft, and surface trough along the Gulf Coast of South Florida, ample moisture and lift led to the development of scattered showers over the local Gulf waters on the morning of July 11th.
