Brief heavy rain was accompanied by pea size hail, which caused 1 inch of water to run over a portion of 8th street in Glenwood Springs. Amount of rain was unknown.

Wider weather episode

Lingering sub-tropical moisture remained across western Colorado with drier air pushing in from the west as the high pressure shifted further east with drier air increasing aloft. This resulted in less coverage of storms but some storms were still capable of producing brief heavy rain, one of which resulted in some street flooding in Garfield County.
