Nassau County Emergency Management reported that Stokes Road bridge was closed due to being inundated by river flooding on the Georgia side of the St. Marys River. St. Marys river also flooded the Scott's Landing boat ramp and nearby sheds at St. Marys river campground. The St. Marys River near Macclenny reached major flood stage and peaked at 19.71 ft on Aug. 7th. The St. Marys River at Traders Hill reached
major flood stage and peaked at 16.17 ft on Aug. 10th. Zidell Road in Callahan was closed due to deep floodwaters making it impassable. A car was also stranded in the floodwaters. CR-119 and CR-121 were reported flooded but passable. 9.27 inches of rainfall were reported in Hilliard, FL during Debby. The AWOS station KFHB Fernandina Beach gusted to 46 mph.

Hurricane Debby made landfall as a Category 1 storm along the FL Big Bend coast during the early morning of August 5, 2024. Prior to landfall, outer convective bands produced tornadoes across portions of northeast Florida on August 4th. Widespread flooding moved inland with Debby across the Suwannee River Valley and inland Southeast Georgia where flash flooding and moderate to major river flooding occurred.
