Wind gust was measured at Jennette's Fishing Pier as thunderstorms were moving through.

As the far outer bands of Tropical Storm Debbie moved northwards showers and thunderstorms developed along the Crystal Coast. The showers and thunderstorms then continued northwards on the morning of August 6th with a few of these storms becoming strong in nature bringing damaging wind gusts across portions of the northern Pamlico Sound and the coastal waters north of Oregon Inlet.
