Event narrative

A tree branch 8-12 inches in diameter was snapped off about 15-20 feet up and was down across Highway 27 near County Road K.

Wider weather episode

A complex of thunderstorms moved across the Northland during the morning of the 30th. While primarily bringing heavy rainfall as it moved through, some gusty winds with the storms did bring down a tree near Hayward to partially blocked a roadway. Otherwise, the storms were non-severe across the region.
