A few 1 inch tree limbs were broken along with a few shingles being blown off a roof.

Very warm and humid conditions ahead of a cold front moving into the Northland on the afternoon of the 31st led to the development of thunderstorms. These storms went on to produce damaging wind gusts that led to widespread reports of trees and power lines down across northeastern Minnesota during the late afternoon and early evening hours.
