Buoy station 45013 at Atwater Park (ATW20) measured multiple wind gusts around 35 knots or 40 mph between 1030z-1130z (08/06/2024) with some lingering showers and thunderstorms behind the main line.

Cluster of spotty storms developed over Lake Michigan on the evening of August 5th along a warm front before a more defined line of storms along a cold front pushed in overnight into the early morning of August 6th producing gusty winds.
