Flood waters from Cedar Creek overflowing Finney Road north of Valley Falls from 166th 174 Road. Water was estimated to be 4-5 feet deep.

Wider weather episode

Scattered severe storms developed during the afternoon and early evening across eastern Kansas, producing wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to half dollar size. Flooding was also reported in Jefferson county.
