A shortwave moved across central Wyoming and tapped into mid level moisture to produce scattered showers and thunderstorms. Dry low levels led to the storms being high based and several locations experienced strong wind gusts from microbursts. The airports near Greybull, Casper and Buffalo reported wind gusts of 58 mph or greater.
